We Came Unprepared is the third EP by Wesley Evans. The EP was preceded by two promotional singles: Out of Money and Lost in Life. The songs were released on April 26th, 2019, along with the announcement and pre-order of the EP. Evans released the remaining five tracks on May 11th, 2019.
Background[]
We Came Unprepared was based off of a poem that Evans' made for him as a joke. She wrote an acrostic poem about college. Evans looked at this for a while, but never wanted to do anything with it. After he finished writing the songs for Satisfied, Evans felt as though this acrostic poem would be fun to work with. He thought that it would be a fun challenge to make that poem the tracklist for a project.
